Opportunity

Welcome to the WLEF startup contest. We are looking for the most promising Lithuanian startups that can grow into the next generation of significant, powerful and meaningful businesses. 

The Lithuanian Business Confederation (ICC Lithuania) and our local partners Sunrise Valley, Open Coffee Club present an exclusive opportunity for Lithuanian startups to connect with leading VCs and Angel investors by pitching their business ideas in London.

Application and deadlines

We are looking for Web 2.0, BioTech, GreenTech companies and predominantly those in the expansion and growth stages. While other applicants will be considered, we are mainly looking for companies with a finished product, and a rapidly expanding growth base.

The most promising startup companies will be selected by the screening panel to present a 5-minute pitch at “High tech innovation & investment:  local to global” on 22 June 2010 in London.

The judging criteria includes a good management team, differentiation and competitive advantage, risk and financial viability and growth potential.

Prize

The winning entry will receive mentoring and training worth more than 15.000 LTL (£3,700/$5,400). 

This contest represents an exclusive opportunity for all finalists to pitch to leading VCs, angel investors, and get valuable feedback. 

The 3 chosen finalists will also receive mentoring and training sessions to prepare a top-class pitch between June 7 and June 22 2010.

• One full day of law consulting with SORAINEN worth 5.000 LTL, to be delivered upon request to the nominators in person (location negotiable), by Skype or by Polycom video.
• One full day personal consulting with Kornelijus Čelutka, MTVP“ Partner.
• One full day personal consulting with Daiva Naravaitė, AlpinaSearch Co-founder
• One full day personal consulting with Viktorija Trimbel, Quantum Capital Directors board chair
• Six months office space at Rainmaking (UK/DK)
• Limited serires of consulting with Rainmaking's RainAngels
